This is my Story

During my Freshman year of college I was trying to decide on a major, and if I had been thinking solely of what would be most fun to me and in my comfort zone, I would have probably become a history major. However, the practical side of me was also weighing in on this decision and I looked around and recognized that everyone I knew, regardless of what path they were taking or what their dreams were, needed financial and business skills in some capacity. I also realized that if I didn't learn how everything worked economically, I would need to spend a lot of money to have someone do it for me and I would forever be at the mercy of their decisions and level of competence.

So the practical side won out that day and I went for the business degrees (Finance and Accounting), that I honestly knew nothing about at the time, but these subjects have since turned into a passion and I have relentlessly pursued my goal to understand the rules of the money game I knew I was playing.

After 25+ years I have accumulated two Bachelor degrees, one Masters degree, my CPA designation, many credentials, and years of real world experience in various fields and capacities (legal, accounting, finance, risk, insurance, etc.) I have worked in small businesses (less than 10 employees) and very large multi-national businesses (greater than 100k+ employees), and I have owned my own companies.

My goal is to take what I have learned and make it accessible to everyone.
